Post by thepooles » Sun Nov 09, 2008 3:08 pm i remember beth had a spell when i worried about her legswhen she was about 6 months old, she used to hobble a bit after an off lead walk and once or twice yelped when she got up from resting. fear struck about the dreaded HD.
When do mini labradoodle puppies stop growing. In fact many mini goldendoodle puppies reach half of their adult weight by four months. Even though adult weight is a bit of a guess for a young puppy expect mini goldendoodles to weigh 4lbs 9lbs at 8 weeks of age. Will she continue to have some growth in size at what age do they stop growing. I gotta give dittos to the others. I thought height was basically set at 6mos. but it really is an individual thing. There is a growth chart (link below) that says a dog is at 90% height and 70% weight at 26-30wks, but that is a statistical average. Charlie my mini golden doodle is 16 pounds at 6 months. My breeder had estimated she will be around 23 pounds fully grown. She has been around the same weight for the last month. I don't mind her getting bigger, but wonder when she will slow/stop growing. Her mother/father weigh in around 50-55 lbs so I doubt if she will much larger than either of them.
