I don’t have a labrador but training is just the same. I have a 5 week old German shorthaired pointer / Doberman pincher mix. I had gotten him 4 days ago and he’s now potty trained, knows his name, comes when called and has a schedule he’s learning well.

From quite an early age, an experienced breeder or Labrador enthusiast will be able to identify an English Lab puppy from an American Lab puppy. Here you can see a comparison of two of my Lab puppies at the same age. The puppy on the left is 3/4 English Lab and 1/4 American Lab. I looked at the temperament and personality in each individual dog. Yellow lab puppies available. Mom is an unregistered purebred yellow American lab & Dad is an unregistered purebred white English lab. Both parents are family pets and have very good temperaments. Puppies will be handled daily & be well socialized. They will come with vet check, 1st vaccines, deworming & a puppy care package. If possible, teach your Lab to swim while they’re still a puppy in order to grow that confidence at an early age. Remember – never force your dog into the water as this could lead them to develop a hard-to-overcome aversion to it. Your best bet is to allow your Lab to learn at their own pace and let them embrace swimming in their own time.
